Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS LIONS MEADOWS OF HOPE?
LMOH is a private, nonprofit foster care agency that is contracted with DHS. This means you’ll have all the benefits of Oklahoma, but as a LMOH foster parent, you will also have the support and resources of a local private agency.
WHAT IS THE GOAL OF FOSTER CARE?
The ultimate goal is for the child to be reunified with their family. For this goal to be realized, we ask our foster parents to bridge with the bio-family in such a way that, with your support and encouragement, they become better parents. If this goal is unrealized, it is a possibility that you can adopt if you are willing/able.
